Congratulations Humungus with winning Challenge # 39.
To me it was quite clear from the beginning that there only could be one winner.
Your Lightning picture was the ultimate in showing the brutal and beautiful force of the weather.:thumb
Congratulation also to all 159 Dgrinners who voted.
A new record !
:clap

nice one Gus :thumb
Thankyou everyone...as i mentioned in the other thread...if that storm hadnt just waltzed on in...then the cupboard was bare.
I considered weather a hard subject (excluding my shot as it was a 'chance shot') & was rather impressed with what everyone else came up with.
Gotta love stuff that falls randomly from above & can do damage without any lawyers getting involved.
Gus
NOW can i get rid of those 2 dust spots that are driving me crazy looking at it !!
We have just today signed up to move to a new place up high right next to this bridge...& (http://joshuaink.com/storm.htm)(not my shot) i mean you could actually hit it with a rock from the balcony. The bolt on the left is hitting the other end...... bring on summer.
I have a great view of it all. And guess what Sid ? I now have air-cond & a pool for the next summer :lol3

Is the weather that good there that you don't need an air conditioner?
Is the weather that good there that you don't need an air conditioner?Mate..this place is heaven on earth weather wise. Always warm & sunny. It was one particular day last year that hit 107f (42c) inside that guswife & gusgirl threw the claw in & said we are getting a/cond next summer. I agreed to do something about it & being the laziest electrician you have ever seen...i decide to move to a place that already had it :roflMy side of the deal was it had to have a high balcony for summer storms/lightning.
