Just wanted to post 2 pics from my today's engagement shoot. I was dying to work on them as soon as I had the shot in the camera - well, ok actually already before I got the shot :D

I took the photos in a sculpture garden in the area. I've been there about 4 times already, but didn't see the "flying sharks" until today .... what a FUN idea! I wish I would have the right $$ to have them in my backyard ... ok, I would need a backyard first ... haha :rolleyes

Here are 2 takes:

3: And just a normal one of the couple ....:

VERY cool!!! I like the two different types of processing done in #1 and #2. In the first one it almost looks like you put a surreal background in there. Very neat!:clap

So in the first did you add some kind of ferns for texture over the top? It is freakin' awesome, whatever you did. I sit here amazed. (I went to your website looking for some inspiration yesterday and you certainly do deliver on that... Thanks!)

Thanks Mitchell! :lust The only thing I wish ... - well, there are 2 things; !. That there was no bush behind them + 2. that the shark on the left wouldn't align with the tree, but I couldn't find a better position for myself to stand as it was a bit swampy & I didn't bring my wide angle lens that day... :rolleyes Oh well :lust

Thanks Heather :lust:lust:lust Yup, the original photo actually reminded me of a photo I took once of some woods in Maine ... there was a lot of fern on the ground (GOOD EYE!!!) Hehe ... So I just distorted the trees so they match the perspective of this photo, and voila :D Maybe I'll try an other version with more fern, so the bush behind won't stick out as much :scratch .... :thumb

I am already planning my next trip out there this time with a bride .... Just haaaaave to re-take the shot ..... maybe sometime this summer :D

+1. It's all cool, but somethign about the elongated height of the trees combined with that processing just makes it utterly magical. :bow:bow

I was worried I took it over the (kitsch) edge. Kinda curious what the couple thought when they saw it first ... Haha. Glad you like it. Thanks DivaMum! :lust
