Image mouseover zoom?

I've seen some smugmug sites whereby a mouseover some thumbnails actually enlarges it by a few pixels - giving the impression you're zooming into the thumbnail. I've searched all around here with some keywords and could not find anything.

Ok - will try to be more specific.

First, check out this website http://bigwebguy.smugmug.com/. Whenever you scroll over an image, it has this mouseover effect (ie. zooming) which I would like to re-use in all my galleries. I like the effect rather than using the light border which appears when you scroll over my gallery images.

How can I achieve that effect?
