Went to the Red Sox vs Orioles game last night.

The sign said "Best Peanuts in New England." I asked what makes some peanuts better than others. The guy said, "Some are salted."

The National Anthem.

Last chance for popcorn.

I have a 1D Mark II high speed series of this particular event, but it' kind of gross.

Sold out.

Do we think she could give us a play-by-play after the game?

Once the home team was winning, (almost) everyone got interested.

And when the home team wins, well, it's a party.

Nice series - it really took me out to the ballpark. I could almost smell the spilled beer.

Gosh, it has been a long time since I have smelled spilled beer. Am not into ballgames, wish I were. Atlanta, with Ted Turner, and in the world series, that got me, but nothing else has. I do know it is better to be there. (I have been told that)

I like the first three photos best, great set, I almost feel like I am there, to really feel it, you wouldn't want that.

I agree on the salted peanuts, never knew anyone liked unsalted until I tasted what Bill was eating.

YOu all wouldn't believe the peanuts they eat down here. Only tasted them once: boiled or something. That was in the up country, though I have seen them here, too.

Very good experience, thanks for sharing, Rutt.

My idea of fun has evolved. Anyplace I can bring my camera and which has good photo potential is a good place. I look forward to any event where I can take pictures and which offeres some visual drama.

Hey Rutt, great set. I'm not enjoying the season thanks to my hometown LOSERS - the Yankees. Time to dump Torre.

#1 pic: Wish the cops face had a bit more light but otherwise all is cool :thumb

Nice series Rutt, the first one captures the mood perfectly, working when everyone else is off and enjoying themselves.

I always like seeing ballpark shots. I've never been to Fenway and really hope to some day. I really like this shot: http://rutt.smugmug.com/photos/23728012-S.jpg
But wish the guy would sit down so I could see the Monster better! :doh

I like it too... I'm guessing it's with my favorite lens as well. Yeah, bad angle to be at for the "high speed series" you are referring to. Yuck.

Great series Rutt. A ballgame is such a great place for people watching (and shooting). I like the cop and the popcorn seller too. :thumb
