Is this a Japanese chef?

We ate dinner at a Japanese restaurant in Copenhagen. This is a picture of our Tepan Yaki grill chef. His name is Bent. He's only been doing this for a year and a half and is quite good at it. He doesn't toss the knives in the air yet though. :): He was so serious, didn't smile much. But cooked the meat just right. :thumb
