Cool shot, but I don't like how centered the tower is... looks like there is something of interest to the right, maybe you could have incorporated that? The sky could be more impressive looking. And it looks like the vignette is uneven.

This photo has potential. But in my opinion it has some technical issues.
good
-great choice for black and white (textures)
-great mood
-good choice for horizontal
-cool castle
nit
-vignette uneven
-noisy
-uneven horizon (tilts to the left)
-underexposed (shadows lack detail)
-dust spot (or a bird ) in the sky ?
-cell towers, bit of a distraction
PS It sounds like alot of nits but these are really easy to fix. Let
me know if it is ok to tweak you photo and repost to show the
new fixes.
Take care,

Please, tweak away! I didn't think about cloning out the cell towers. Frankly, I am amazed that they would put cell towers on a 17th century tower, but what can you do?

Here are some easy tweaks to clean up the photo a bit.
1-I straighten the photo
2-I cropped the photo so subject is off center also to remove the vignette
3-put the image through NR software to get rid of the noise
4-opened up the shadows a bit to show some detail and fixed the exposure
5-healed out some of the antenna masts, left dish in ran out of time
Hope this helps and thanks for posting.
Take care,

Dwayne nailed it. I think what did the most improvement is the crop.
