Hey, those are different than the Cherry Ripes I found....Is that like a cookie? Haven't seen the ones with a layer of biscuit. I bet those are good too!:thumb

No layer of biscut in those they are just that much bigger. They are 200g instead of the 150g.

No, look close at the package. It's the same as a regular CR with a layer of cookie. I guess it be kinda of like a Girl Scout Samoa, except with cherries instead of caramel.
That's it...time to go to lunch...:eat

I must admit I'm now very curious. Too bad I'm also broke, or I'd definitely look to buy some online somewhere just to see what all the fuss is about. :D

Say Gus,
Are there any American food items we could possibly hook you on? Something you can't get over there as payment for this Cherry Ripe business? Next thing you know, we'll all be talking like Aussies! I think it's a plot...
As for me, I'm goin home to throw some chook on the barbie, kick back with a stubbie of Crownie, and barrack the Spurs. Phoenix stands Buckley's of beating San Antonio tonight.

So far I have found 34 posts that mention cherry ripes on dgrin.com there's prolly more than that though I think. Gus I think you have a lucrative career as a pusher if you ever wanna get off the poles.

Next May, after the C-Ripe addicts are but a quivering pitiful mass of humanity, Humungus or Skippy or some other Aussie will bring cases of the next ever-more-powerful thrill to corrupt us. And it will be better than Cherry Ripes. Bryce/Zion will be interesting as it will be both delcious and dangerous. Will we even leave our rooms while downing foriegn buzz food, or will some stronger-willed photogs manage to crawl out briefly to bag a gig or two of scenery between tasty hits?
:binge
This could be an evil Aussie plot to numb all north american photographers into comatose-like stupers. Being naturally immune to the effects of these addictive foods, they will then win all POTD contests. We will also be broke from mail-order madness.

Hey Shay, I met the guy that runs that store you ordered from. Maybe I can talk him into a DGrin discount. That way, when we're a "quivering pitiful mass of humanity" we can at least get 'em a little cheaper.
Either that, or I could try to talk him into 1 or 2 Cherry ripes for me for every Dgrinner that orders from him!
I just finished off my last one...gotta go back tomorrow anyway...

It's costing a small fortune to keep sending tins of it to my bro in England :giggle

Yeah before I read this thread I read Andy's thread regarding his newly aquired case of cherry ripes. I couldn't take it anymore so I broke down and wrote a long and gushing email to cadbury australia about the new afflication at this forum. My requests, a list of dealers in the USA if they have one, a discount for us dgrinners as we are soon to become a steady stream of revenue, among other requests. Now to await the reply (I hope they say they are sending me a free case).
PS Upon researching the forum today and using the search term cherry ripes instead of cherry ripe I found 97 posts. Way to become addicts guys, gus should be so proud. :huh:1drink:booze:twitch:twitch:twitch:twitch:twit ch:twitch:twitch:twitch:twitch:twitch

Worthy.
Light, little hint of chocolate, wafer and coffee. Not terribly sweet
yet satisfying all the same.
