It would be nice if we were able to add the X-UA-Compatible meta tag to our pages. This way anyone that has a customisation that doesn't work right in IE8 can revert to the IE7 compatibility mode.
It would make sense to put it in the "Head Tag" box but unfortunately that is output too late for the meta tag to take effect. This particular meta tag has to be before any style, script or link tags - i.e. it needs to be one of the first tags inside the head.
