Trying to calibrate my semi cheap monitor and my Epson 3800.

or should I save the cash and put it towards a NEC monitor and calibration software?

that is the way I am leaning.. looking at other online reviews... besides the Spyder system is over $200 more at the "regular" price.. .so it must be better,,,right :wink

Do you really need the print calibrator as well? I think it'd be more common to go with something like the Eye One Display 2 and not calibrate the prints, as the 3800 is not likely to vary much from the reference profiles that are generated for the paper.
