Hello,

My site, at http://photos.normanallen.com OR http://islandvows.smugmug.com, has been around for a while. I want to achieve a new look, so here's what I did to start.

1. Opened http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq and emptied my customization settings by copying them to text files. I figured it would be best to start from scratch.

2. Made a logo, which is at http://photos.normanallen.com/photos/499355435_kVYNf-L.png

I'm trying to use the logo above to achieve a look similar to http://andydemo.smugmug.com, found in "How do I make a no-banner (but slick), custom header? (javascript:void(0);)" (item 7 in the tutorial).

I followed the steps. I refreshed and the new logo shows up.

3. Copied my existing navbar, which was made by following the tutorial in item 8.

However, when I refresh, the new navbar shows up as a list of text, and doesn't look like the site in the tutorial. Again, I'm just trying to have a logo on the left, and the text menus on the right, just like the demo site http://andydemo.smugmug.com.

I figured by emptying the CSS, Custom Header, etc and starting over, I wouldn't have a problem. Could it be something else? For now, I've put things back how they were.

Regards,
Norman Allen
