Priviet, dear friends!
When I presented my printed photos to one of my "models", she was there. She said "Oh, how beautiful they are!!" I asked - do you want to have your photos - she agreed..
So here are the results:

Privet Yuri,

I see that your secret lens is still working wonders...these pictures are excellent and I really like the first one. I'm sure the model will be as happy as her friend to receive copies of these photos. Thanks also for answering all my questions :clap

Cheers,
Kevin K

From the front or from the side, you have eyes mastered. Your work really shines when you get a great set of eyes to work with, which seems to be all the time :wink

Priviet, Nikolai!
First I work with healing brush (yes, yes - perfect skin is rare here...)
then
- work with levels.
- sharpen (unsharp mask 98/0.4/0) eyes, (sometimes hair and lips)
- if the photo is bright enough, I use Harry's method
[BTW in Russia they say 'he hiccup' in this case - I mention him too often in my posts, hey Harry - do you hear me? - what about USA?]
copy layer/set blending mode to 'Multiply'/ Gaussian blur (depending on sizes of objects in the composition) 2-20/set opacity to what you need...
Hope this will help you,
Poka,
Yuri

Thanks for the desctiption!
Got it.. So it was healing brush.. I was wondering.. Same problem here, too:-(
As to the "hiccups": no, this is not a proper idiom here, never heard it from the native speakers..

Usually, you speak loudly through their eyes. This set has no eye contact, but I really like the last one best of this set. Some of your most powerful portraits that I've seen have always had eye contact. It's that something special that you are good at capturing.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris
