Who'd have thought I'd be pleased to see the first dandelion flower in the garden :).
Used to always pull (dig) these up but now leave as many as I can- beautiful flowers and good for many bees and hovers.

How come you control the flash so perfect? :) . You got the most detail on this flower and hope to see your next bees and hovers.

I've been shooting with the same flash setup for about 3 years now- just getting used to it. Only odd things on this shot are use of +1 FEC to allow for the bright flower (would be under-exposed otherwise) and then temp correction of the RAW image down to about 5500'C. Canon flashes tend to be rather on the warm side (for my taste anyway).
