Amadeus,

I for one am all good with the whole pushing the envelope of art, creativity, and all that new age thinking stuff. But I just don't get this. I mean your just taking photos of a tv in what looks like a run down apartment (I assume your single from the looks of it). I just don't get this whole series. It reminds me of something my friend did when he got a bad hit of acid in high school.

Weird doesn't bother me. Hell within the right context I could think these are outstanding photo's. But all we see is one liners with the photo. Give us a story behind it. Give us something to grasp onto otherwise we don't even know what you were trying to accomplish.

LOL yeah I just re-read that sorry I have been sick all weekend and it was late so well I wasn't filtering my thoughts. The photos give me a feeling of a dark rundown NYC apartment like you would see in a indie crime film (personally I thought this is a look you were going for with the photos (ever seen the movie "bone collector"?)). Mainly due to the exposed studs in the wall and paint chipped door which other than the tv and monitor are all I can really make out in the photos.

But see without a story behind it thats the feeling I get from these photos. A distraught indie artist who is out to change the way the world is seen by everyone and is doing in a way no one understands. A guy who lives in a run down place in NYC who eats ramen noodles and corn flakes.

If thats not the intention of the photo's give an explination, a reason behind them, your concept something for us to grab onto.

I think I'm starting to feel a kindred to Frida and may devote my next few months in the Matrix to her. Frida not Salma.
