Today I was in my local Barnes and Noble and came across "With Scott to the Pole - The Photographs of Herbert Ponting". B&N had the book in their sale pile for ten bucks, I had to get it.
WOW - the pictures in the book are simply stunning. Even with thousands of dollars of the most modern equipment, I don't think I could come close to htis guy who did this work in 1910.
If you go to a B&N look out for this book. At ten buckos, it's the bargain of all time and absolutely brilliant :thumb
