I have a headscratcher: I have posted a link on my SmugMug page "http://www.backprint.com/storefront.asp?PID=bp%1E%7BFz (http://www.backprint.com/storefront.asp?PID=bp%1E%7BFz")" that works in Safari and Firefox, but doesn't in IE. My workaround was to paste it below the link as text so users could copy and paste: "http://www.backprint.com/storefront.asp?PID=bp%1E%7BFz". For some unexplainable reason, all three browsers convert the %1E%7B part of the URL (and the TEXT!) to "{". The resulting URL http://www.backprint.com/storefront.asp?PID=bp{Fz works in Safari and Firefox, but won't in IE.

Can any of you tell me why on earth this is happening and how I might workaround? Thanks for your insight.

Can you post a link to the actual page where you have this link so we can look at the overall context of the HTML?
