Priviet, dear friends!
His name is Avtandil - means 'heart of the homeland'.
He also calls himself Tato.

Interesting catchlight in the eyes, looks like a paneled window (the main one) but also something in the lower half of his eyes.

great portraits.

Privet Yuri,

I love this portrait of Avtandil. The look in his eyes is wonderful and seems appropriate for a name that means "heart of the homeland". Would you be willing to offer any tips on how to achieve such great detail in your photos?

Cheers,
Kevin K.

Kevin, Afraid that I'll disappoint you, but I have no secrets - just very good lens of my true old Sony F707 (must say I like it more and more!)
Full zoom.

Ha-ha, Peter!
Feeling the influence of my previous posts... :-)

He is a worker my friend 's firm (furniture factory).
He's Georgian (Mingrelian). Life is hard in Georgia - so he 'makes money' here in Russia...

Yuri

Yuri,
Your work is excellent, I have been looking at a lot of posts here tonight, but this guy stood out the most, he looks just like St. Cyril in the Icon which I have.... wow... if he had darker hair, he would be his twin!

Excellent shot by the way.
