Well, the LAShooters took advantage of free admission at the Queen for some late afternoon shooting. RMS Queen Mary is an old British Steam Ocean liner that has been permanently moored at the Port of Long Beach as a tourist attraction/restaurante/convention center/hotel. Anyway, they have never been well run and is always under new management and under poor state. They are having free admissions at times to attract more foot traffic (I guess).

Anyway, there are a lot of Art deco designs aboard ths grand ship. Sorry if the shots are a bit too abstract, as I've been there a lot so I was looking more for abstract type of stuff.

1. The Cranes on the bow.

2. Shadow of vents. Reminded me of mushrooms.

Cool shots and nice processing, Tom. :thumb #2 and #4 are my favorites, but all are very good. That looks like a guitar amp in the engine room. :D

Ha ha, maybe the engineers rocked out in the engine room.
Who knows.
Thanks for your comments.

The photos are wonderful and the finish is excellent. The story along with it make it very interesting. I enjoyed scrolling thru; seeing and reading!

Thank you.
My whole gallery of the Queen Mary is here as well. It's older stuff, so I didn't include it with this post.

Nice job on the processing of these Tom :clap

I'd rather explore a ship tied to a dock than one at sea,
least ya can't get seasick that way :rofl

Thanks for sharing Tom :thumb .... Skippy :D

Ha ha, I hear you. Personally, I don't see how folks do the cruise ship thing as I'd be getting cabin fever. I probably could tolerate a day or two before wanting to off the thing.

Thank you. Now that you mention it, yea, I do see a dreamy look to it. Didn't really think about it processing the shots though.
Go figure.
