Saturday afternoon, I went walking on the Greenway Trail. Wanted to share these shots with you guys. Most of the flowers were beautiful, and while the sun was in and out due to fast-moving clouds (making metering oh so fun :wxwax ) I made do. Hope you enjoy! Please click any pic for EXIF.

These whitish-purply flowers were among the first I came across. I have no idea what any of these flowers are by the way.

Then I found these lil' daisy-like flowers calling out for their picture to be taken. I know, I know, the center of the flower is OOF, but oh well, I love the color in this one, and the petals really jump out.

then I came across a darker purple variety of the first flowers:

I would love to know what these lil' guys are called. The flower head itself was about .25 of an inch wide.

This guy is also tiny, coming in at a quarter of an inch wide as well.

Well, that's all for my walk. I quit smoking earlier this week and I've been trying to get all the exercise I can get in. :wink

My wife says the first two are Dame's Rocket; phlox have 5 petals. Dame's Rocket comes in a variety of colors. The third picture is a Common Fleabane.

The Fringed Phacelia is commonly known as Miami Mist or Scorpion Weed.

All ID's come from Peterson's Field Guide to Wildflowers.

Very nice pictures, by the way!
