I took an interesting shot of my girl yesterday. Let me know what you think. :wink
I know it has some highlights but I liked the way the natural light hit her eye. The rest of the coloring in the image was nothing special so I took it out. I focused on her eyeball, so I figured that keeping the color there would draw attention to it. Thanks for your comments/criticizms.

I think I would like it more without the selective coloring.

Just to even things up - I like it because of the colour left in the eye - nice composition.
Cheers, Richard.

Nice. Selective coloring works for me too. Its so subtle I practically don't
see this shot to be BW. :thumb

I love the shot....as long as she is not a "Georgia Bulldog".
If she is a Georgia Bulldog...she is the ugliest creature on earth:D

great shot I love the selective coloring

Wow nice job! I like the selective coloring on this. Would be interesting to see the original as well. :thumb

OK. Here you go. The first image is the same photo I posted only with full color. Other than the eye color, I didn't think the color, in general was that impressive in the picture so I thought by only leaving the nice eye color, attention would be directed there. Also, that is where I focused my lens.

The following image is the original shot I got from my camera. I felt like the end product needed to be a close-up. I wanted to crop out "Panasonic" and, again, show off the spot of focus, her eye (after getting rid of the major blood vessels :D ). Thanks everyone for all of the comments.

My preference is the b/w image. The original color image does not emphasize your focus, which is the eye.

Nice work. :clap

:agree I think the b&w is definitely better. Fantastic job, that is one I would hang on the wall if it were my bullie! :clap

I echo everyone else--the B&W with colored eye is MUY BUENO! :D
