View Full Version : Enlarged photos are behind the thumbnails...

I have been having some problems with my site lately. I haven't made any changes. I do have the known problem of the borders not matching the pics on my slideshow.
But, tonight I found a new problem. While viewing photos, when you click on a photo to enlarge it, the enlarged photo shows up UNDER the existing thumbnails. They don't open in a separate page. I have no idea whats going on with it.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks......
Andy

It happens with that picture also. I tried shutting down my PC and restarting. Same problem. Enlarged photo beneath the thumbnails. I will look at it from my other PC, it runs windows IE 7.0.

Oh. Now I understand :D
Firefox? View>Zoom, reset. That'll fix you. You just had your zoom zoomed :D

Andy, do I need to reset zoom with every enlargement? Still doesn't work. It worked fine with the windows 7.0. I even tried a different Firefox theme. What happens is, I open the thumbnails. I click on the photo on right to enlarge, the enlarged photo appears underneath the thumbnails. I can click on the L XL, etc. at the top of the enlargement and it will then open in a separate window. I did try the reset of zoom and didn't work..???:dunno
Any other ideas?? Thanks.

Yes, you can - it's working fine and as expected on Firefox here.
Something wonky with your Firefox, hopefully we can figure it out.

Hello Allen and Andy, thank you for your time with this. It is something with Firefox and my PC. I have another PC that runs windows 7.0 and it works fine there. I have a laptop that runs Firefox, and it works fine. When I use the IE addon with Firefox it works fine. It is just something with my PC and Firefox, I'm sure. I was just hoping it wasn't something with Firefox in general. Allen, when you mention the cookies, is there a place in Smugmug to do that, or just delete them in general from my PC? Thanks to both of you for your help.....Here is an attachment of what it looks like.

You might have a corrupt cookie in Firefox. See this page. http://www.smugmug.com/help/cookies

Allen, yep, I checked there. Smugmug is also listed as accepted cookie. Beats the heck out of me. I have emptied everything I know to empty and checked everything I know to check. Other PC's I have work fine......just seems to be this one, my main PC. I am about to chalk it up to just one of those things. Like I have said, it will work on this PC if I view it using the IE Firefox addon. If you think of anything else, let me know. But, I appreciate your help.
