View Full Version : "Get a Link" is slow

I'm having some problems with the "Get a Link" page in SmugMug. I know it's a problem with my computer, but I can't figure out what it might be - so any help would be appreciated.

When I click on "Get a Link." the page is very slow to load. I probably have to wait 30-45s before I can copy any links, and it also locks my brower up (Firefox). This doesn't happen on any of my other computers, and I've tried IE and Opera with the same result.

Does anyone have any ideas about what settings I need to change?

Do you have the latest Flash Player installed? What internet security applications are you running. They come up just about instantly for me.

Yes I do. I run Kaspersky for internet security. Those are the same on all my systems, so it must be something elusive that's peculiar to this one PC, but I can't figure out what it is.

The most common things to look for is internet security, privacy or other content blockers, and browser plugins.

Anything that blocks flash, or scripting should be checked.
