hawk vs. new lens

the new beast arrived today and i was anxious to take a few test shots. its going to take me awhile to get the hang of it, but its a task im looking forward to. turns out there is a hawk who seems to live in my apt complex...he flew by just as i came out and he (partially) cooperated. hopefully i'll have a better one to show next time...
