I'm pretty new when it comes to video editing. I just have one question.

I have a 700mb MPEG2 file shot in HD. All I want to do is to reduce the size down to 100mb but WITHOUT killing the video quality too much. I have Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate, but there is no feature in it that you simply commands it to resize the file to 100mb, or is there, like you'd do with a photo image resizing in Photoshop?

I read the sticky in this forum but I couldn't get the answer to this question. I'd very much appreciate your help! Thanks.

Use the excellent & free MPEG Streamclip to convert to H.264 format which produce a much smaller file even at 100% quality. The maximum bit rate for upload to SmugMug is 3.2Mbps with 128Kbps AAC audio.
