It's been a long and painful winter here in New Brunswick (Canada). Our small farm is adjacent to the Kennebecasis River and, since it floods every spring and fall, to save our electric fencing from vanishing to the sea, we have to remove it every winter. The posts are 4' tall and, in spring, the water crests above the top of the posts.
This is my first time posting a photo here so please be truthful but kind :)
Also, I have my photos watermarked on my smugmug site and wasn't sure if there was a way to post it without the watermark. Sorry.
In winter, with the clean white snow and bare tree on the riverbank, it's pretty - unless you're as sick of seeing winter as we are. I spent two weeks in Vancouver on the west coast with my son and his family - where the crocuses are blooming and the tulips are close to budding as well. Imagine what it felt like to fly home to....
