So.. for those of you lucky enough, as I am, to have a cameraphone.. there's a cool free site that just launched recently called snapnpost.com - It's pretty much like the rest of the moblogs out except that it has a lot of neat little features, like privacy functions (so you can control who views your gallery,) and an API feature (so you can host a satellite of the gallery on your on site..) Check it out.

:thumb Cool, thanks Zombie. And welcome to dgrin! I haven't see a site like that before. Kinda fun. I'm beginning to understand the fun of having a camera on the telephone. The concept was lost on me before - all I could see was the telephone company making extra money off of long transmission times each time a photo was sent.

True. But what I like is that you always have it on you. And so you're going to make a pic that you might not have made otherwise... capture a moment, a feeling, a look. Very spontaneous. That's when the content overcomes the style. I see shots like that in the galleries on the site, and that's what I like about it.

I do see a lot of bad image quality, vignetting, camera shake etc. I wonder if the quality of the cams will improve, or if that's not a priority for those involved.

I carry my camera everywhere I go, not looked at a camera phone, and not interested. I can't imagine you would ever get a decent photo from one. Ok for fun, I suppose, but I think as someone said, the carrier's are the winners on this one.

Q.

PS....Not too sure I would rather eat an eel though.....:D
