Highlight current thumbnail in gallery view

Hello fellow smugmuggers,

I noticed that this happend on someones zenfolio site and really liked the idea. Does anyone know how to highlight the thumbnail of the currently selected picture? It highlights the thumbnail on a mouse over, but I would like to set up a different color to highlight the current image. That way there is a nice little indication of where you are in the thumbnails.
