Eddie Albert passed away at the age of 99 on the 26th. I heard this on NPR today. I remember him from my childhood. May he rest in peace.

Just read from your link. The NPR report we both heard yesterday was incorrect. He would've been 97.

I also was shocked! Of course, had not heard anything about him for well more than a decade. So, sorta forgot about him.
And, you're right about the age. I didn't catch that. At the least, there's a 2 year decrepancy. Could also be the prob is with the WEB site.
Needless to say, the Green Acres are classics. I haven't seen them in a while... but I'll still look for them.
UPDATE: I guess we have a 2 year difference between WEB sites also...
