View Full Version : dim thumbnail on embeds elsewhere

If you look at the thumbnail of the video embedded here http://kareltests.co.uk/ you can see that it is at about 50% brightness. Is that intentional? Is it necessary? None of the other hosts do that.

Hello Karel, thanks for the input, I'll be sure the team sees it.

You can, for the time being, replace that video keyframe with an image that is much brighter, if you make one on your own, and use Tools>This photo>replace video preview image.

Just a thought.

Still dim.

The image posted has several areas that are at peak brightness already, like the red lettering. Best solution is to not dim the thumbnail.

Agreed, I can't brighten my image without it looking dim, but still "blown out." Why is the preview image dimmed when embedded to begin with?
