Chris, I really, really like the effect. Only problem I'm not sure of the main idea. Is it a portrait of the guy or are you selling the Hatachi (sp). But the effect rocks. Cool old nail gun.

I like it...it's different...but...strikes my fancy. Photographic Art.

Is it an HDR? It certainly pops.

Thank you so much everyone.

@Hackbone: I have a series working and it'll slowly develop. I'll post the progress as they keep building and eventually let everyone know what is behind each photo.

@marikris: It's not HDR :( It takes a long time in photoshop dodging and burning then running lots of layers with combinations of colors boosts, curves, levels, sharpening and such. I don't have a recipe that is reusable as each photo needs different treatments. Also the lighting plays a big part, it needs lots of highlight and shadow to make it look good. I'm slowly experimenting and getting better results with each try.
