Still enjoying the new lens ...Canon 10-22
Downtown (again)
Was stopped by the Cincy police and a GSA Agent
They were afraid I was taking photos of the Federal Building
This is a first for me no big deal really but had to show them all of my photos
Which took a little while ..If I was in a hurry to be somewhere this could be bad :dunno
They were finally satisfied that I was just taking photos and let me go on my way.
Here's some of what I took last night

- ChuiThank you Daniel
My work flow is really not that much but here goes.
I shoot in RAW
I use ps cs for RAW converter
I adjust white balance in RAW converter I leave everything else alone
I try to expose the shot properly :dunno
In ps I do levels then curves
Then selective colors to bump up the colors
Then I sharpen if I needed ... for these I used high pass
I make a duplicate layer
Then filter-other-high pass radius was 6 pixels for these shots
Then I blend using one of the following
overlay,soft light,hard light,vivid light,linear light,pin light to what ever look I am shooting for
Then flatting and thats it
Most of this I picked up from here on Dgrin
Before I started hanging out here my workflow sucked :confused
It's still not the best but still learning :D
Thanks again

IanI have a lot of airport shots but with 911 I not sure if I should post them
Everything it so strict here now it's hard to tell if it's ok or not ?:huh
In my job I take care of the airfield I rarely get inside.
Most of my airport shots are out doors so maybe I should post some of these ?:dunno
Thanks

I can't remember the airline but I think it was you that posted the
shot of FedEX freighter taking off at sunrise/sunset. What a great
shot it was.

I really like the way the water effect looks on these pictures. It really works with the form of the statue. I like the first image the best! :clap
