cool shot jeff. one thing though: you may think about upping the contrast just a tad--like + 7 or 8. may give the image a bit more pop IMO.

how'd you manage to get so close? do you have ninja feet? ive seen lots of images you have posted lately and the improvement is palpable. i need to do the same in the intrest of learninghttp://dgrin.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Sharp, but a little flat. I think you can do a little post processing with curves to increase the contrast and the drama this images deserves. A little USM might help too say 20, 50,1.

Nice shot.

Nice shot. thanks guys but this shot was so dark and my ps skills are black and limited [now Nik has me trying ps and :cry :cry elements was hard ] I shot about 6 frames so when i find out how to edit i will try again .but thanks for the kind words and boy was i like a kid in a candy store. the first time i was close like this i am lucking i took off the lens cap :D thanks again for the nice comments and path i really do not know what usm is? curves i do get the idea but have bad luck in elements .I think in elements curves not that good like i see what they do in ps . I need to go to the book store and put down the camera

great shot Jeff.... some are saying it's "flat" but I'm wondering if you've done some fancy post effect?
