I brought home some new lightning equipment I was asking about recently and this inspired her for some shots.. She took this with her little nikon coolpix and a built-in flash.. I wish I was the author..
I can only imagine what she'll take in Bryce etc...

Very good, in many ways. She is special in her ability to put herself out there, IMO.

You know, Nikolai, dont like using built-in flash...
This photo is not an exclusion :-(
But ... from all other sides - colors / composition / DOF / expression of the 'model' - amazing photo!
Please say 'priviet' to your 'model' (does she speaks Russian?) and tell her she has a talent for photography!
Poka,
Yuri

Very nice Nik, it must be great to share your hobbies with your daughter. She obviously is very smart for using a Nikon:thumb

Actually, I'm amazed how well built in flash wroked this time, I was expecting much worse..
Yes, she speaks Russian, although, as probably 90% of kids who were brought to US young enough (she was 5 when we moved) she prefers English..

I'll pass her your compliments:-) She is now one of two ediors of her photo class:-)

Nik. I think your car was trying to tell you something when it broke down based on the statement you made about the cameras in your home. That poor nissan didn't break down, nope. It was putting up a protest as it was embarassed by having to cart around all those non-canon, off brand :wink cameras, for so long.

And the stone in the windshild was a reminder that glass whould be interchangeable:-)

I'm saving, man, I'm saving.. Darn S*E is not selling fast enough :D

Cheers, mate!

I'm trying to get her deeper.. Thus far the outcome is very low, but occasionally she gets those pearls:-)

Actually she way more "mine" than her elder sister. But they both got such a wonderful mix (two completely different mixes, to be accurate:-) of both me and Angelika, that there is no way to tell

Yessir, exactly why I "dived" on this shot - very "'tudy":-)
