Yeah they were dragging all day yesterday and they are still down for maintenance. I bet they got hit hard.

Top of the buy/sell forum, supposed to be the "Official feedback thread." My comment here was mostly tongue-in-cheek, but I do know from experience on other forums that once a thread gets past a thousand posts or so, it starts consuming a disproportionate amount of server processing power and usually gets closed.

They have updated the homepage, here is what it says.

fredmiranda.com is offline for maintenance.

Our main server has suffered a severe crash and we are furiously working around the clock to get the site back online as as soon as possible.

btw - dw looked at my shelf - where i keep my lens boxes etc.. she said i have more red/white canon boxes than she has blue boxes from tiff****s and she promptly reminded me of a) our deal and b) that tiff****s is open every day :lol3

I just tell her that the white lenses are the cheaper ones. Same with the black lenses with the red stripe around the front. "L" also means Lower price. :rofl :rofl :rofl

The larger body cameras are also not necessarily more money than the tiny ones with the lenses included. Its OK, she stays clear from these forums.

:lol3 david i've already got her thinkinig that the 1Ds II is not as good as the 20D, it's bigger, clunkier, and the 20d is "19" more that the 1D so it's "got" to be better :deal
