View Full Version : Can we copy a video to be placed in more than one gallery?

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is possible as the option is greyed out when I try to "Make a copy" of a video to place into another gallery.
I'm just wondering if there is a clever way of doing this instead of having to spend hours re-uploading the same videos again into a different gallery. (What I'd like to do is have a separate gallery which JUST features all the videos.)
Thanks!
Nelson

I am afraid not at this time. Videos cannot be copied. If you want more than one copy, they must be reuploaded.
You might take a look at using Keywords to create a virtual gallery. Then you can create a link to the keyword page with all of the videos in it.

Thanks docwalker. I may just have to create still frames with a link in the meantime. (Or re-upload if I have the time on my hands.)

Hi - just checking if this is still the case and there were no updates to this feature. Would like to copy videos to another gallery just as described in this thread. Thanks.

Hello - anyone? I'd like to use the option described in this thread - use one uploaded video in two galleries without re-uploading. Any changes to this capability? Possible now or still not? Thanks!

You might be able to do it via the smart gallery feature, allowing an image (or video in this case) to be linked to another gallery.

Smart Gallery or Collected gallery is the way.
I just "copied" bunch of videos from bunch of different albums into a single album and I shared that with a friend (whom I did not want to have access to other galleries at the moment) Just click that yellow plus sign and then choose your destination gallery.
