So in the future, the "L" might stand for Liquid crystal or Light weight?

Yeah, I just read that over there too. Problem is, that when it finally goes into production, camera cell phones will be banned everywhere, and this is just one more reason to do it.

Or, when Canon or Nikon techs work it into their line of pro lenses...

"Hold on, let me get my 6-1200 zoom Lens out from my wallet and... huh? WTF? Where did it go? I just had it! These things are so small these days. Damn."

or even as a pair of glasses...better yet, a screw on fliter/tele adaptor for your camera!
