Changing styles

In the process of creating a new site.

I want to have my main gallery and all the galleries within it with a "smugmug style" with thumbnails and photo beside; I want the style for my contact and guestbook page to be a journal style.

When I change my gallleries to smugmug style my contact and guestbook change from journal
style to smugmug style.

How do I keep the Gallery page Smugmug style and Guestbook and Contact as Journal.
