Attempt at Film

Back in September I bought a used medium format film camera. This one:

The price was just too good to pass up and it's in spotless condition. Since then I've been practicing my film and darkroom technique. I finally got a scanner to scan my prints and thought I'd share them with you. All photos were taken with a 100mm lens and a 6x7 120 film back, printed on 8x10 RC paper. BTW, these scans are nowhere near as sharp as the original prints.

Your #2 image above looks VERY familiar. Can you tell me a little about the location?

Look quite bulky in size, is it heavy?

I like the second shot in this series.
The pathway across the water is very interesting, I'd straighten the image a little as it is leaning to the left.

I find working in the darkroom rather relaxing.

#2 was taken at the campus of Simon Fraser University in Vancouver (my alma mater). It's been in a few movies and more than a few episodes of the X-Files.

With the prism finder and grip attached it weighs about as much as a Canon 1 series, maybe a bit more. With the waist level finder attached and the grip removed it becomes much lighter and very portable.
