question about flash

many dgrinners have "praised" my use of the flash. truth be told here is what happened. when i 1st took the pictures with the onboard flash everything was blurred and not the right tint. when we went into another room fully mirrored everything came out so nice!

Why???

What do you mean a fully mirrored room? My guess is it wasn't the mirrors, but something else. What was the difference in amount of, and type of, lighting?

when i 1st arrived i had the girls stand against a wall so i could take their pictures. all of the pictures came out lousy ( can i say lousy on here? ). the tint was awful and every picture was dark. when we went into another room that had alot of mirrors, all the pictures came out so much better!!! the lighting semd to be the same. Tint issues sound like white balance. Dark is exposure. What equipment were you using? Again, I don't think it was mirrors per se. It doesn't appear any of the mirrors were in the picture itself, for example.
