Life has kept me from shooting lately, but I got a chance to grab this on my way home from a family trip this weekend.

I like it a lot. I'm partial to old barns also, and I think yours is quite nice. It's such a nice sky, that I think the color version is better. I think some more detail in the barn would help, though. It looks like it might have some interesting textures and holes!

Thanks for sharing. Hope you can get out and shoot some more and get busy posting! :D

Hi Dion, I like both versions of this shot, the sillohette looks great.
I think the sky looks more powerful in the B&W version.

Nicely done :clap .... Skippy :D

Beautiful sky. Amazing texture, color, etc...

I think this photo would have made a great HDR image. That way the barn isn't under exposed, bring out some detail in the barn a bit.

Other than that though, gorgeous photo.

thanks guys..i was contimplating hdr, but i decided against it, as there is a slight time lapse, and i didnt want any smearing of the clouds..i wanted them crisp and clear, so i decided to silhouette the barn, and lose the detail, and keep the sky. I guess hindsight is 20/20, because given the same scenario all over again, I would have used my flash that I had on me, to bring out the barn...GRR, oh well, I like how it turned out anyway.

Thanks for the comments
