I took this shot on an XTi/Sigma 10-20 mm at 10 mm (= 16mm on the XTi)
I cannot make up my mind whether its rubbish or not
The black specks at the top center were a flock of birds
I would like to hear other opinions, please
Thank you very much

Hi, I do like the abstract quality to this shot, especially the lighting - however, because the birds look like specks, I think it would be better without them.
Cheers, Richard.

Intensifying the colours in the first image you posted works well for the trees and the lower part of the image however it has increasing the noise in the sky and as Richard said the birds look like specks.
I like the Black trees best in the first shot.
The Second shot (the original) just looks a little on the flat side and I think you could still enhance that image without over doing it :nod
Both shots have their good points, I guess its a matter of person taste with this one :thumb .... Skippy :D

Here is a compromise version, which also includes the moon, as I lowered the ISO from 1600 to 200,
no birds, less enhancement
Comments?

Here is a compromise version with less enhancement
Shot at ISO 200 instead of 1600 in the original(s)
the moon shows up clearly in this version
Comments please!!
