Here's another great spot for gliders if you don't already know about it:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=fort+funston,+san+francisco,+ca&sll=37.704195,-122.463226&sspn=0.122777,0.2211&ie=UTF8&ll=37.721615,-122.504693&spn=0.014529,0.027637&t=h&z=15&iwloc=F
Note the parking lot just south of point F on the map, that's it!

Yeah but the Diablo shots have a more interesting (than Funstan) backdrop IMHO
Nice shots, I like #2.

SaloSV,
I have been to Ft Funston. It's a different situation their. You can get a lot of shots as the gliders pass back and forth along the cliff. So you can get repeated shots of the same pilot/glider. On Mt Diablo depending on where the gliders launch from & the wind conditions. You get a few shots at launch and a few as they move away from you (as you can see). Most of the landing sites around the mountain are miles away so getting any landing shots from the same launch are remote. :(: The pilots may not decide untill they are in the air which landing spot they will go for. You can see the radios used to communicat to the drivers for pickup.
Thanks for looking everyone.
