OK, I am now tearing my hair out over this! Hope someone here can help!

Whenever I work in LR, if I try to crop a photo, see attached screenshot for the bizarre results!

Original is at: http://ndblew.smugmug.com/photos/467271008_fdPHd-O.png

I don't know why it does this! I think I've flipped every switch, button, whatever, hoping to fix it. The file displays perfectly once I exit crop mode, but while I have the crop tool open, the image does this weird flip as soon as I move the handles off the corners where they start out at.

Background: This is a laptop, running Windows 7 Beta, build 7000 (the public beta), 2GB of ram, 2.0ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. I have Office 2007 and Adobe Master Collection CS4 installed. LR worked fine under Vista Ultimate, so my guess is it has to do with Windows 7. Anybody using Windows 7 that can provide their experience?

HELP!!!! Thanks!

~Nick

I think I would consult Adobe about the ghost with a strange sense of humor in your machine.

It seems to be flipping the image vertically while you are cropping?

Do you use the "R" key as a shortcut to bring up the cropping tool?

And of course, just out of sight in my google search results was this tasty bit:

So, note to any and all, there are definitely a few bugs to work out and some of them seem to occur with LR2. The stance seems to be that they are Adobe's problem, not Win7, but time will tell.

Hope this helps someone in the future!
