Displaying a Gallery Next to a Category

Hello-
I've done a bit of searching for this but can't find my answer. I'm wondering if, on my galleries page, I can display a gallery next to my categories. See here: http://www.raymakerphotography.com/galleries
I would like to be able to click straight to my wildlife gallery on this page, instead of having to click the wildlife category, then click on the wildlife gallery. Let me know.

These are the options I'm aware of:

You can start using featured galleries where you have a small set of galleries that are listed in the feature galleries box on your galleries page so they are available in one click
Instead of displaying by category, you can just display a flat list of galleries so all galleries would be available with just one click, but there would be no category hierarchy at all displayed.

Hmmm, so there is no way to force a gallery onto a category page as far as you know. Dang. Well, thanks for your input!! :)

PS, if anyone else has ideas, let me know! No, there is no way to do it without custom javascript programming to insert it dynamically after the page is rendered or switching to HTML page views where you manually create your own HTML to display the category.
