One thing in addtion topeak action I always try to get are some good sportraits wheater then are candids or planned. I have found that the the moms love these type of shots and are often favored over action.

Here are a few from the past year, lets see yours

Seriously... this is the way sportratis should be shot -- The photos weave a story without needing any words.

mmcatee: Perfect exposure and great composition. And how are you lighting these? And this is my favorite from your very amazing set because I can see his personality in the photo -- the young man just loves the game.

tjk60: I think because of you, I'm going to spend the next year learning how to strobe sports. I started the flash journey earlier this year (kicking and screaming) by buying two PWs, but looking at your work, it might quicken my learning curve. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love the intensity in her face!

kwkodiak: Wonderful pop and white balnace! And that's not always easy to do in hockey!

I see soooooooooo many kids with their mouth guards out of thier mouths while on the bench!

Holy COW!

:bow

I have soooo much to learn. I leap up and down if I can get a handful of good shots a game. I try not to "spray and pray" by bursting but so many of my shots have arms in the way and people in the way. Maybe these sportraits is another good way to go rather than just trying action all the time.

Thank you all for sharing. I learn a lot by just looking at what you guys do.
