These are from Northwest Arkansas. I decided to step outside yesterday morning, and during the first 24 hours of the storm, I popped off a few. Of course, the next morning showed even worse conditions, accompanied with snow on top. Add about 3 times the thickness of the ice in these pics, and you'll have an idea of what we're dealing with.

Fortunately for me, I never lost power. But most of my friends are still without.

Here is the entire gallery (http://tommygunphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/7207819_deZTF/1/463005173_xtpkq). Constructive criticism welcome. I'm finally getting the hang of LR2!

Cheers!

Brrr.... I wonder if the ice would throw back colorful prisms if you used a flash?

Brrrrr. Good shots. All we got in St. Louis is mostly snow. Lots of it.

Nice pictures, Tom! Glad to see someone here from my neck of the woods. Glad you didn't lose power. We did for about 5 hours, so we were lucky. I got out a little bit at work to grab some pictures, but otherwise most of the time has been spent chipping ice and navigating the Interstate here. :D

Hey Rebecca! Always fun meeting locals on here.

I just spent that last 2 or 3 hours breaking ice off the vehicles, and am about to head down to Fayetteville from Bentonville. Wish me luck!
