Hello... I was looking for a little help with the pocketwizards and I know that a few dgrinners have them.

I have recently purchased a few Alien Bees and Nikon SB-800. I have also purchased a set of pocket wizards but I was unsure of whether I needed any specific triggering cords for these lights? I haven't ordered any as I made an assumption that the necessary cords would come with them. Looking at B&H now though I see a whole list of cords so I am thinking my original assumption was indeed incorrect. Can anyone shed some "light" on whether I need these cords??? :D

Thanks,

Lee

You'll need cables to connect the PW to the flash unit.

ANd PW is real proud of their cables too - as in, they are not cheap! :D

Thanks Ian... That's what I was afraid of... Time to call B&H and get them to adjust my order. I appreciate the help! :1drink

Wow... You are not kidding! :D I wonder why they are so expensive? Either way, it looks like I will need them.

Thanks for the help! I appreciate it!

Before you do, you might want to google and see if anyone else makes the
cable or even if you can buy the parts and build it yourself.

Good luck!
