View Full Version : Reverse order of 'recent"

Is there any way to make the 'recent' feature, e.g.
http://captivephotons.com/date/2008-12-26/2009-01-25
to actually show the most recent first? Reversing the order of the dates does nothing, they always run from oldest to newest, an unnatural order for a "recent" gallery.
I think I've seen this asked before, but a quick and not thorough search did not turn up an answer, and besides -- hopefully another ask may inch it a tad higher on the requested list if there's no way to do it right now?
It just seems like it would be a "desc" on a sort statement somewhere. :bow

It's been asked for many times in the past and no solution has been found.
Might post a feature request and bring it to the front again.
I added a red notice at the top saying "see last page for latest".

Hi; it looks like the order of the "most recent" search may have been fixed.
This is the hyper link that I used:

It had always been an issue before. Comments anyone?

Interesting. I almost wrote you back and said you still had them in from/to order, but then I did some checking and if the URL is to\from it doesn't work (nothing found), but it appears within the returned shots when it is from\to they are in descending order.
Which is fine with me.
I looked at recent release notes and didn't see anything other than this:
>>Cleaned up the “Recent Photo” feed so it no longer shows stale content.
which sounds like an RSS thing?
But it does look better now!
