That looks like he started with the white theme.

Thanks for the help. I know how to apply themes though, its the css where I get confused. Anybody out there who could build something very similar for me? I noticed there is a thread for people who build custom smugs but I only noticed 2 developers. Are there others?

The way it works in the customizing forum is you apply the theme that looks like the best starting point, then you figure out what you want to change. You search dgrin and see what you can find to try to get to what you want. If/when you get stuck you post here with a link to your site, a description of what you are trying to accomplish and what you have tried or where you got stuck. Various volunteers (including myself) then try to help you get to your next step.

There are also people you can hire (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=89938) to do your site for you. It's up to you.
