I wish I had taken this photo, credit is due to my sister in law. I believe she uses a 5d...sure wish I did
Any way this is take from Cypress Bowl (localski hill) looking south over the city of Vancouver
I saw all the other posts recently of low clouds and fog and figgered this must have been shot around the same time...seattle is just a short hop away

Wow. Very cool. Crop out or clone out those trees on the bottom right and this is stunning image! :thumb :thumb
This is a great shot. It reminds me of the set from original Star Trek series.

You know I like the tree, as to me it gives the photo a sense of realism and perspective. It's a winning a shot for her to be proud of. Without the tree it would look like any other shot from a plane, but this amazes me as I realize the photographer was on dry land!! Maybe a slightiiiish straightning of the horizon might be an idea. ;):clap :clap :clap

I love it. Its a wonderful shot.
I would have aimed slightly lower, moving the horizon more towards the 2/3 but that doesn't distract much from this excellent subject.

That is sweet! I remember seeing Seattle under fog like that a few years ago before I started taking photos. Very fortunate that your sister-in-law was able to capture this, just beautiful.
