While most people on here head into the gyms for Basketball or Wrestling and any number of WARM events this time of year - I decide to go out and brave the elements! It was -19 C with a wind chill of about -29 C or so. I figured it was Snowmobile racing - so it has to be cold... 6 hours of that 'cold' was enough for me!

Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think.

Side note: I shot all day with my D300 & 70-200 VR. I was amazed at how well the 300 handled the cold! Countless images combined with the temp & VR and i still had atleast 50% battery left after 6-7 hours.

Thanks Ann! Whats this about the sport?! I know they race snowmobiles in Alberta! May be up a mountain - but they still race them!!! :rofl

Thanks! Aside from the cold, it was a blast! Alot of the techniques come into play from MX! Without the dust though!!!LOL!!!

Thanks for the coment! Its interesting to me how some people go for the pics of them in the air or like you said the action shots of the corners.

Guess thats why i tried to include a mix!!
